From the FAQ:
17. Why doesn’t the library patch open in Kontakt Player. Or asks for a serial number and has a 30 minutes timer after which it shuts down?
- Sonokinetic libraries do not yet have a Native Instruments kontakt player license. We’ve invested in Kontakt (as displayed on product pages which are available in the Kontakt format. So please make sure to check if you have a full version of Kontakt before buying a library programmed in this format.)
18. Why can’t I extract the other archive rar parts (Parts 2, 3, 4 and up)?
- you only have to open the first part of the archive collections. (Part 1.) The other parts will be extracted automatically.
How does the download process work?
Simple. First, you select the product you want to buy. When you checkout you are taken to our secure payment gateway where you pay for your product/s. You can either pay by PayPal or all common credit and debit cards, When you’ve paid a link will be posted in enamel (html) download ticket with a secure personal IP linked url to your private download area where you will be able to download the sounds you’ve bought for 48 hours after purchase. (72 hours for large bundles)
Our packs either come compressed as either Zip files or Rar files. ON A PC: unpack Zip files using Winzip and Rar files using Rarzilla. ON A MAC: unpack zip files using the native, in-build unarchiver, and Rar files using UnRarX. If you are having troubles unzipping your product and you are a Mac OS X user then use the 7zX utlity – sometimes the bundled decompression utility that comes with Mac OS X struggles with large folders.
In your download area you will also find other resources to help you extract the libraries.
Downloads are kept in your Download area for a period of 36 hours in case you have any problems saving your purchase. You will be allowed to download your product link 8 times. If you run out please contact us. We’ll figure out good solution for you. If you’re having any problems you can contact us at any time for rapid online support.
I’m still confused – I’ve never bought a downloadable sample DVD before.
No problems; simply visit our
buying-assitance-guide-page (see menu) which shows you how buying downloadable samples from Sonokinetic works. If you’re still in trouble, simply
contact us and we’ll give you any information you need.
Please note:
Concerning extracting:
Due to the large sizes of our sample packages we’ve had to split them up
in multiple files. _Part1, _part2, _part3, etc./ zip.001, zip.002 etc
When extracting Sonokinetic sample packages only open
the “.part1″ / zip.001 files. All other files will extract automatically!
Concerning Converting REX2 to RMX:
We strongly suggested you to update your Stylus RMX and
S.A.G.E tool (to 1.6 and above) to make sure all files are
installed correctly. Please refer to www.spectrasonics.net
and the available manuals and support for this third party
software. We do not provide technical support on
