  • Preview audio button. Use to preview and select your perfect script before adding it to the time line.

  • Use the ‘import’ button to load your movie from the camera-roll into the Trailer Voice app. Alternatively, simply drag a video from your computer into your iTunes iPad Photos area and sync to then load it from the camera-roll.
    Please note: the maximum video size for import is 5 minutes duration.
  • Drag and drop phrases and elements from the script pane on to the timeline. Use at maximum zoom for ultimate control.
  • Control playback of the video and scripts using the PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, skip forward and skip back buttons to preview the video.
  • Scroll to a location when the video is paused or stopped and play will continue from that location when resumed.
  • Optional follow play head button. The default setting is active where the scroll area follows the video. When inactive, the scroll area does not follow playing video.
  • Use the Zoom +- buttons or pinch-to-zoom on the time line scroll area allowing for finer adjustments to phrase positioning or an expanded context view. Use at maximum zoom for detailed positioning.
  • Scripts and volume ramps can be individually selected by a single tap. Tap and drag to move phrases within timeline in 0.1s second increments. When a script or ramp is selected, it can be removed from the time line by a single tap on the trash button. A single tap on the time line not containing a script or ramp de-selects any currently selected item.
  • Adjust volume levels of both script phrases and the original video audio with the volume sliders.
  • Double tap the video area to display it in full screen mode. Double tap again to return to the normal view.
  • Program volume automation with a double-tap on the video audio area or the script audio area to create a volume ramp and double-tap to edit length and volume levels.
  • Export your completed video back to the camera-roll with the ‘export’ button. A current export can be cancelled by tapping the cancel button and the export can continue in the background while you continue working by tapping on the main screen and continuing.
  • Full cast list available with the ‘credits’ button, including links to the screenwriter and vocal artist’s websites which are available by tapping on the artists picture.
  • Tapping on the Sonokinetic logo in the Credits window links you to the Sonokinetic Trailer Voice website should you need access to this documentation.

  • Select a male of female voice by tapping the corresponding buttons at the bottom of the app.
  • Double tap phrases and elements from the script pane on to the timeline. If you want to return to your script of choice double tap the audio edit area under the video audio bar. If you want to start a new search use the buttons “male” or “female” at the bottom again. This will clear your search.
  • Control playback of the video and scripts using the PLAY, PAUSE and STOP, buttons to preview the video.
  • Scroll to a location when the video is paused or stopped and play will continue from that location when resumed.
